A boudoir photography session – how it works.

A boudoir photography session is something that every woman should experience at least once! You do not need a huge excuse like an upcoming wedding or milestone anniversary to give yourself permission to come in for a day of pampering and enjoying being a supermodel for the day. All that you need is a few outfits that fit you, and some trust that we will take care of everything for you!

When clients arrive for their scheduled boudoir photography session, we begin by going over photos on their own phone of makeup and hairstyles that they are drawn to. We want to give you the look that YOU want because your session is all about YOU. After collaborating, the professional makeup artist gets to work giving the client an amazing hair and makeup. After going through the 3-4 outfits that the client has brought in, a plan is made for the order that they will be photographed. Once the artist is done with the client’s makeover; I sit down with each gal and spend some time going over many different posing things that I will ask for during the session as well as teaching them the different facial expressions for various emotions like seduction, coy flirtation, and pleasure. The actual photography session begins after that, and will generally last from 1.5 to 2 hours. The session is one hundred percent coached and posed by me, so the client does not need to know what to do or how to look at the camera. And I pose each woman to complement her specific body type, so that everyone looks amazing regardless of shape or weight.

At the end of the boudoir session, my beautiful client leaves the studio looking and feeling like a goddess. She may have arrived feeling a little nervous; but she always leaves with a beaming smile and increased confidence. I am left with 300 to 500 images on a memory card. I go through all of the gorgeous images to choose the cream of the crop -the best 50-70 images. I give the top 50-70 images a magazine style edit, which includes cellulite and stretch mark removal for a polished but natural look. Then the client comes back into the studio approximately 2 weeks after the boudoir photography session for a viewing appointment at the studio. Sexy photos for Christmas

A boudoir session is something you should do for YOU – sexy photos are a fabulous way to celebrate your femininity and a fantastic way to boost your own self esteem. Are you struggling to see your own beauty, are you battling an eating disorder, are you going through a loss or a heart wrenching divorce? While a session with me won’t solve all of your problems, it is my passion to help you by capturing your beauty and giving you a lovely day of pampering and an amazing experience in your photo session. And of course to create sexy photos that you will be gushing over for years to come.

As women, we tend to put everyone else in the family first and we are often on the other side of the camera. And usually, the photos that are taken of us are not on our best hair and make up days – when we don’t have the best outfit on and the light is not flattering. You deserve to have a supermodel session where you are completely coached on how to pose and what facial expressions are good for you, where the light is good and the makeup and hair are done by a professional.

It is always fun to do a session so that you can gift sexy photos to that someone special in your life, and even shock them a bit if this is completely out of your comfort zone and not normally something that they would expect from you(I hear that a ton). BUT, your number one reason to book a session with me should be because you are taking care of you. Feel like a supermodel in your very own boudoir sexy slide show!

One of the things that clients love the most at the studio is the boudoir sexy slide show.

Usually a boudoir photo session lasts over two hours, and I come away from a session with upwards of 300-500 gorgeous images. I do the very painful job of going through each and every shot, to pick out the cream of the crop which is usually 50-70 images. I give those selected photos a magazine style edit. That means that I polish up skin to get rid of blemishes, bruises, cellulite, stretch marks etc. Once I have the top boudoir pics edited, I take approximately one third or more and I make a black and white version of the ones that often shine even better as black and white(those are often images that work fantastic as wall art). Then all of the retouched images and the black and white duplicates are put together with a seductive song in a slide show format to add to that come-hither wow factor.

When clients come back in for their image premiere approximately two weeks after the boudoir photography session has taken place, the boudoir sexy slide show is the first thing that they see in high definition on the big screen tv at the studio. It leaves most gals with a giant smile, some of them crying and all of them delighted that they actually love photos of themselves. I love getting to show gals that they are indeed very beautiful.

The boudoir sexy slide show is a best seller at the studio because it has all of the images, moves fast, and includes music for added emotion. I know that significant others love it just as much as my clients do. I have future plans to add some moving pictures to the slide show as well, so stay tuned for that!

Free boudoir photo session

Tips to choose the best boudoir photographer for you.

When you are beginning the search for the perfect person to capture your essence and beauty while you are modeling in your skivvies or nothing at all, there are a few things to think about and consider.

A personality that meshes with yours is important. You want to feel comfortable and at ease because you don’t want your images to look nervous or tense. It is important that whoever you choose is friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. They should be willing to answer any little question you may have, no matter how silly or insignificant it may seem. They should offer tons of information to help you prepare. Make sure that you have a good chat on the phone or in person to get to know them and ensure that they are a good fit for you. Find a professional who has a body of work that is appealing to you. Look at the gallery of images on their website. Do they show the sort of work that you are looking for? Some of the best boudoir photographers in the industry are constantly seeking to improve their skills, take yearly courses to expand what they offer, and are part of professional organizations. Another thing to consider is the location where you will be meeting the photographer and having the boudoir session. The home or studio that you go to should feel safe, and not in an undesirable part of town. Parking can also be an issue if the meeting place is in a downtown area. Our studio has abundant free parking which can ease stress a wee bit when going to a place that you have never been to before; especially if you are already nervous about your session. And our dedicated studio space is in a nice part of town, in a lovely brick commercial building.

A great make up artist is another important part of your boudoir session, because you won’t love your images if you do not care for the make up. Our make up artists are licensed estheticians with the Ohio board of cosmetology. Both Jenny and Yodit are in high demand, and their work is impeccable.

Editing skills are important when you are showing a lot of skin! A good photographer will be able to get rid of stretch marks, cellulite, bruises, bulges and scars without making your skin look plastic. All of our photos get a light edit with the removal of stretch marks, cellulite, bruises, bulges, and scars. I can flatten a tummy a bit, if the client requests.
