Bridal boudoir is becoming a very popular trend. Lots of ladies want to mark this time in their lives, when they are often working extra hard to fit into that wedding dress. And many want to mark these last months as a single woman with amazing images of their essence and beauty. This stunning gal came in for boudoir photos to be used as a gift for the groom. Her sexy pics were so fun to create!

These are her words about her session at the studio: “I had pictures done for my fiance to give to him on our wedding day. Angela did an amazing job, and although I was nervous at first, she put me at completely ease. Even though the pictures were a gift to my soon-to-be husband I was doing it just as much for myself because I’d never really thought of myself as sexy. Boy did these pictures change my mind! I was so impressed and excited that I gave him the gift early and the album was a huge hit! He’s already asked when I can do more!”

Ladies work so hard to prepare for a wedding day. I hear it all the time that I only have tiny gals on my website. That’s simply and actually not true. This client is an average size gal by american standards – she is not a size 2, 4, 6, or 8. But posing and outfits will always be used to give a client the best possible vision of themselves. She is a true curvy gal, and she completely rocked her session in all of her gorgeous and beautiful glory!! She proves, as so many ladies before her, that you do not have to be a size two to do a boudoir photography shoot. She wanted to have sexy pictures to boost her own self esteem, so she did this for herself. But her man was equally delighted in the luxury album and cool phone app that she ordered from her boudoir photos. She was so excited about her sexy pics that she showed them to him before she had planned to gift them to him. It is very hard to contain the excitement that gals feel when they obtain photographs of themselves that make them feel like a goddess. Yes, it’s true. You are a Goddess. Your age and size do not matter. It’s not your size that matters – it’s how your wear your size! A giant thank you to the lovely Mrs. D for generously allowing me to showcase her fabulous curves and radiant smile. I may be slightly jealous of her bold hair color, and I can’t wait until she’s in front of my camera again!!

Columbus Boudoir Photographer | Marking Your Progress

A boudoir photography session is sometimes used to celebrate a milestone. I often see ladies who are turning 30, 40, 50, or 60 and they want to do something special for themselves – and use the boudoir photos as a gift for a significant other at the same time. I also see a lot of women who are on a weight loss journey. Recently, it seems like I have served a ton of ladies who have lost 30-80 lbs. Sometimes they have loose skin issues which are easily dealt with by choosing great wardrobe and by doing some light retouching. Losing inches is a hard thing for most women to accomplish, and I am always thrilled to help them see themselves as sexy again if they have lost their mojo. Being a mom, a full time employee, and a wife are all big boots to fill – and sometimes a bit of self love can go a long way in filling the sails of your own ship. Of course, being pampered by a licensed make up artist and then having a professional photography session in a boudoir studio that specializes in women’s intimate portraits will make any lady feel like a supermodel for the day.
