I have so many lovely clients who have given me a full or partial model releases this summer, but I am really busy at the moment retouching and fulfilling all of their orders. Today I am busy catching up on all the weddings that Randy and I shot in the month of June, along with getting files ready for girls who will be giving s special boudoir book to their groom on their upcoming wedding day. It has been an overwhelming month in terms of shoots and now we will head into a full month of retouching in July. I feel so blessed for every event that we have attended and the moments that we have captured. The expressions on faces at a wedding I worked on today left me laughing and smiling and I know the bride is going to love them! And the 4 generation glamor portrait shoot that I did selects on today left me touched by the lines on the face of a lovely great grandmother who gave us the honor of doing her make up and including her in the fun of a regular mother/daughter shoot. I am swimming in a sea of editing at the moment, and family time is down to a minimum….but I am thankful for the wonderful people who have allowed my camera and lens to enter their life for a brief moment in time. While my computer is processing another boudoir shoot, I thought I would take the few minutes to post this pretty lady whose favorite service man is about to come home for the Fourth of July. She came in to the studio with her Mom for a great mother/daughter shoot and then we finished with boudoir photos for her to give to her man, who serves this great country. I am sure these photos and all the others that she decided to keep private will be a treasure to him after he leaves to go overseas again.

Boudoir Photography is not just for the bride to be. Ladies of all shapes and sizes are coming in to give their man a boudoir album as an anniversary gift or just to celebrate a milestone in life. This spirited gal with a personality that shines with enthusiasm and joy was so fun to shoot. She came in with a friend because doing this together with a gal pal is fun and can ease any fears of the unknown. They each did a boudoir photo shoot to surprise each of their husbands. Celebrating 16 years of wedded bliss to the same man, and parenting 2 children while working full time; this gal has a ton to be proud of. She rocked her boudoir shoot, proving that 40 is fabulous!! We are seeing a ton of excited brides this time of year and we share in their joy as they work to create a lasting gift of true delight for their fiances. This delightful gal came in for a very fun boudoir photography session with her extremely supportive girl friend an we captured her beauty so that she has an unexpected gift of sexy boudoir images for her man on the day of her wedding. We did use her fiance’s work shirt as part of the shoot and those were some of the favorites but they will remain private because they proudly display his name embroidered on them. lol
She was very hesitant to do this but her girl friend pushed her to do it and she was so glad she did. I wish I could show off how beautiful that her lovely face is…..she was stunning. But she wished to keep her images anonymous and we always respect that desire. Isn’t she hot stuff!!

This amazing gal was a gem to work with! Her love story with her high school sweetheart was a blessing to me in an era filled with divorce. She inspired me with the fact that she works out with her man and that the kids could not pull one over on them because they are a formidable team. Yes I said kids…..this sexy chick is the mother of two and holds down a full time job and carves out time for her hubby. I stand and applaud her fearless and fabulous attitude!
