This beauty decided to celebrate her beauty just for herself.  She now is in a serious relationship; but at the time she was a single gal. I applaud those who are allowing themselves to come in for a once in a lifetime experience without the excuse of giving an album to a spouse or significant other. I recently had an amazing client pick up her stunning album that she was about to gift to her husband as an anniversary gift.  When she was leaving, she felt the need to confess that while she was using this as a gift; she had also done this for herself to build her own self esteem and to capture this moment in her life because she was aware of the fact that with each year she was getting older and finding it harder to feel great about her own body.  I reassured her of the well researched fact that men are very attracted to confidence in a woman; and that, since doing her session had boosted her own confidence in her body and her sensuality, her boudoir photos had become a double gift to him in the end.  And that she did not need to have a reason to do something wonderful for herself, anyway.  As women, we struggle with guilt if we do things just for us.  But we need to love ourselves first. That self love is important, because we can only love others when we take care of ourselves. So remember that you do not need a reason to do a boudoir photography session other than wanting to have gorgeous images of your self and to feel like a supermodel for the day.  Thanks to Ms.L for allowing me to use some of the images from her amazing session.
